UK
Version 4.0 | Last Updated: 5 June 2025
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY USING ANY LIMBIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE OUR SOFTWARE.
We are Limbic Limited, a UK company providing software that supports mental health care. These terms apply to all our UK products, including:
- Limbic Access (web chatbot for referrals into mental health services)
- Limbic Care (mobile app for patients in mental health care)
- Web-based dashboards used by clinicians to manage these products for mental health services
- Any documents we provide as part of these products
Our software helps patients do two things:
- Get access to a mental health service (Limbic Access)
- Navigate through treatment and care (Limbic Care)
Using our software to refer into services (Limbic Access) or support care delivered by a therapist (Limbic Care), it uses information collected (like how you’re feeling and what you’re going through) to create insights that the healthcare team can use to give you better care (we call this 'Limbic Generated Data').
For clinical healthcare teams, our software displays these ‘Limbic Generated Data’ to help them view information about your mental health. These tools support, and do not replace, clinical judgment.
Our software is for support only. It does not offer medical advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional care. You should always follow the guidance of your clinician or therapist. We are not liable for losses unless required by law. This includes injuries caused by our negligence or fraud. Otherwise, our liability is limited to £1 or the amount paid to use our software, whichever is greater.
We collect and use your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Please read it at: https://www.limbic.ai/limbic-access-privacy
We do our best to protect your information by being compliant to a number of information security standards that require us to be audited - this means that someone external to Limbic checks that we’re doing things in line with the standards we follow. However no online system is 100% secure.
When you use our software, we grant you a personal license to access and use it. This means:
- You can use our apps on your devices.
- You can use our documents (if any) to support your care.
Please know that we may update the software periodically to improve it or to fix any bugs or issues.

You must not share your use of the software with anyone else.
We may update the terms, software or services in the future. This notice will let you know about major changes.
